Heyy wazzupp, how’s it going? For starters, let me apologize for my sudden radio silence. You know how it gets with finals, new summer jobs and travelling; sometimes life just goes so fast you get buried under.
A lot has happened since my last post. I succesfully passed all my classes and, as mentioned, did some travelling and started working. My big plan is still on, and I will keep posting updates about my weird money making strategies. For now, however, my progress is somewhere between very slow to non excistant as my current summer internship really only covers my living expences, and eats up most of my time. But not to worry, I still have some aces up my sleeve!
Next up a bit more exciting news: I’m going hiking! In less than a month me and a friend of mine are leaving for 600-700km (about 400mi) hike along the Canadian Rockies in order to raise money for the We Matter Campaign. In short, We Matter is an Indigenous youth-led non-profit organization supporting Indigenous youth. The aim of We Matter Campaing is to tame the high suicide rates amongst Indigenous youth. I’ll get back to the hike and the fundraiser in more detail on another post but for the time being you can contribute by making a donation on the official We Matter website. Remember that even small donations can make a big difference 🙂
That’s about it for now! Once again, sorry for the disappearance, I’ll try and update you more often from now on. I really hope my adventures will inspire you to become more courageous and go after the things that are important to you. Just keep in mind that things will happen if you make them happen. See you in the next post!
